In the news for its strong alcoholic strength, as if teenagers were going to cough up for this premium stout of downing cheap cider in the park, it has brought notoriety and fame to the Brew Dog brewery.

A truly imperial stout and not for the faint-of-heart, Tokyo is a big beer to savour by the sip. Jasmine and Cranberries give the brew a taste perhaps more akin to a fortified wine than a beer and the end result is magnificent. Very expensive and seemingly brewed in relatively small quantities, Tokyo has a long shelf-life and is perfect to keep for those special occasions when only a serious brew will do.
